Many people use FileZilla FTP Client to take backup of their site but here we will learn the process of taking full backup directly by login to cPanel of your hosting.
To take Full Backup of Website through Bluehost Hosting’s cPanel, first of all login to your Bluehost’s cPanel using Chrome Browser, or after login to your Bluehost account, click on Advance option at the bottom left side. Even then you will get into cPanel.
After coming to cPanel, scroll down a bit and you will see the option of File Manager in the section containing Files, click on it. (see picture below)
And then a new tab will open in your browser. Now look at the URL of this new page carefully, we are showing the last part of this URL below.
Now you have to edit the URL shown above here delete filemanager and type backup and then press enter button in your keyboard for example see new edited URL below.
Like you edit the url and type backup in place of filemanager and press enter, you will come to the backup page, now from here we will download the backup of database and files, and these two backups are full backup of our site.
We will first download the database, for this scroll down a bit on this page and you will find a heading written Download a MySQL Database Backup and below it Database will be written in bold letters and below that your hosting account username will be written. If you are using Hostinger’s hosting, then first of all login to your hosting account to take backup of your site.
Your Domain Name will appear as soon as you login to Hostinger’s Hosting Account and click on the Manage button in front of it. (see picture below)
After clicking on Manage, scroll down a bit and you will see the option of Backup, click on the box of Backup. (see picture below)
As soon as you click on the Backup option, you will have the option to download the backup of File and Database, first of all we will download the backup of the files, for this click on the Select button below on the box containing Files Backup. (see picture below)
As soon as you click on the Select button, you will be asked to choose the date below, you can download the backup till the last 2 days ago. After selecting the date, click on the button of Download All Files below. (see picture below)
